Situated in Shanghai’s Pudong New Area, Shanghai Disney Resort is the first Disney resort on the Chinese mainland. Shanghai Disney Resort is next to Shanghai Pudong Airport in Pudong New Area. It occupies an area of around 3.9 square kilometers. The first Disney resort in Asia, Shanghai Disney Resort officially opened for business on June 16, 2016. Today, the park has become one of must-visit Shanghai tourist attraction for family travel. The park is divided into six themed lands: Mickey Avenue, Gardens of Imagination, Fantasyland, Adventure Isle, Treasure Cove, and Tomorrowland, each with its own distinctive charm and exciting attractions.
